A bus taking Iranian Shias to visit their sacred sites in the Salahaddin province to the north of Iraq was attacked. One person was killed in the attack while 7 others were wounded.
According to Captain Saad Muhammad from the Salahaddin Operation Command under the Iraqi army, the bombing targeted a group of Iranians who were visiting the Beled district and resulted in the death of 1 person and wounding of 7 others.
