The Iraqi army has launched an operation this morning on ISIS gangs controlling the Fallujah district of Ramadi.
After the operation was started early in the morning from the north of Fallujah, the main road between Amirya sub-district and Fallujah was taken by the Iraqi army. Militia forces allied with the clans in the region and aerial forces of the coalition are also taking part in the operation along with the Iraqi army.
Ramadi’s Fallujah district has been under ISIS control for the last two years and is located 70 km away from the capital Baghdad.
