The Iraqi Parliament has given a vote of confidence for a majority of the cabinet members proposed by Adil Abdulmehdi, who had been tasked with forming the new government earlier this month.

The Iraqi Parliament convened to vote on the new cabinet expected to resolve the government crisis since May and confirmed 14 ministers on the list. 220 out of the 329 MPs gave the government a vote of confidence.
