Turkey allowed the level of the Khabour River to rise for the first time 15 years after it had been cut off as ISIS started to attack Assyrian villages in Til Temir region on 23 February. Turkey has reportedly cut off the water entirely now in order for the gangs to be able to conduct attacks in the region.
