7 high-tension lines were destroyed following the attacks carried out by ISIS in Salahaddin, Iraq and Kirkuk, South Kurdistan.
According to a written statement released by the Salahaddin Police Department, ISIS attacked high-tension lines in the south of the city.
It is reported that the group detonated explosives under the 4 high-tension lines that supply electricity to a large part of the city with remote control, and power cuts were recorded in some regions and districts of the city due to the attack.
ISIS DETONATES BOMBS WITH REMOTE CONTROL
The Kirkuk Police Department announced that 3 high-tension lines were attacked by ISIS near the Havija district in the south of the city.
It is reported that ISIS detonated the bombs it had placed near the tension lines with remote control.
It is further reported that power was cut in three districts of the city due to the attack, and the Kirkuk Electricity Directorate sent a team to the region to repair the damaged tension lines.
