Last night at 23.30, ISIS gangs attacked the western villages of Tuz Khurmatu in Salahaddin. Reports say the clashes between ISIS and the peshmerga continued for 2 hours in Hilêwiya Biçûk village.

8 peshmerga fighters were wounded in the clashes, one of them in critical condition, while the number of casualties for the gangs could not be determined.

As the Mosul operation draws to a close, the gangs in the city are reported to have retreated to Kirkuk’s Hawija district and Tuz Khurmatu.
