Israeli air force bombs surrounding of Damascus, kills four soldier

It was reported that the Israeli air force bombed many points around Damascu, killing four soldiers.

According to the Damascus government news agency SANA, an Israeli airstrike took place at around 2.20am local time.

Sources said that planes from the occupied Golan direction bombarded the Damascus area.

According to the news, 4 soldiers died, 4 were injured and material damage occurred. The Syrian air defense system also intercepted some missiles.

Since the start of the war in Syria in 2011, Israel has carried out hundreds of airstrikes against Damascus military positions, as well as Damascus' allies Iran and Hezbollah forces.

The state of Israel rarely comments on these attacks, and often says that they are preventing Iran from settling at Israel's door.
