YPG forces, the Free Syria Army and peshmerga forces have launched a joint operation against ISIS gangs. The operation began in the early hours of the morning to the west of Kobanê.

The YPG, FSA and peshmerga are using heavy weaponry and fierce clashes are reported to be continuing.
