Karayılan: No need to talk to us
Murat Karayılan, KCK's Executive Council President said today that "Öcalan represents our voice and we believe that it is enough [for the Turkish envoy] to negotiate with Öcalan alone. The Turkish government has not come up with a request to negotiate with KCK anyway" he added.
Karayılan akso said that the KCK is willing to continue the negotiation process in a peaceful way, as Kurdish leader Öcalan has said. "We would like to move forward - the KCK representative said - but the AKP government does not come up with a new strategy. It looks almost like everything is up to what Öcalan is likely to concede in the negotiations. It appears - he added - that the Turkish government has unilateral expectations about the process. They are waiting for us to leave Turkey and lay down arms. But why are we fighting in the first place? We have a reason for being in the mountains."
