KCDK-E call on Kurds to join actions planned for Saturday 13 June

KCDK-E called on Kurds to join the actions to be carried out throughout Europe, Canada and Australia on Saturday, 13 June.

The KCDK-E co-presidency Council called for participation in actions to be held on 13 June to protest the Turkish state's invasion and genocide attacks against Kurds.

In a written statement, the KCDK-E co-presidency Council said: “The colonialist Turkish state continues its attacks against South Kurdistan. The occupation is deepened with the police stations and intelligence centres being established in dozens of different places.”

The statement added: “The Turkish state did not get results from the attacks against North and South Kurdistan and and Rojava using ISIS and similar gangs. Thus it went on the attack with a direct occupation and with the establishment of military and intelligence centres. In addition to the genocidal occupation attempts, Turkey is carrying out mass operations and assassination operations against the Kurdish leaders with the help and support of the collaborationist Kurds.”

Commemorating PKK Central Committee member Kasım Ergin, who fell martyr on 27 May as a result of Turkish airstrikes, the KCDK-E said: “In his poem comrade Kasım Ergin said ‘We do not leave after our martyrdom’.

The KCDK-E ended its statement by calling on Kurds to join the actions to be carried out throughout Europe, Canada and Australia on Saturday, 13 June.
