KCDK-E called on people to join marches on 29 June

KCDK-E urged "all Kurdish people, women, children, young and old, to participate actively in marches that will take place in Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan on Saturday 29 June against the Turkish invasion and attacks in South Kurdistan.

The European Democratic Kurdish Society Congress (KCDK-E) issued a written statement today regarding the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state in South Kurdistan.

"The AKP-MHP fascist government continues its anti-Kurdish policies recklessly and expands its attacks", said the KCDK-E.

The statement added: "The Turkish state realizes its ambitions to annex South Kurdistan and implement its dirty policies with the approval and support of the KDP administration. They are attacking civilians in South Kurdistan."

The statement continued: "The Turkish state, which occupies Afrin and aims at liquidating the struggle of the Kurdish people with its policies of massacres in North Kurdistan, wants to ultimately destroy what Kurdish people has achieved."

The KCDK-E pointed out to the silence of the Iraqi central government as well as the South Kurdistan government and international institutions and said "it is unacceptable. This silence offers to Turkey's ground for continuing its attacks."
