KCDK-E calls for mobilization on June 11

The KCDK-E called for mobilization for the mass demonstrations to be held on June 11 to protest the genocidal attacks and occupation of the Turkish state in Kurdistan.

Co-Chairs of the Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress in Europe (KCDK-E) released a written statement against the ever-increasing invasion attacks of the Turkish state in various parts of the Kurdistan territory.

The statement emphasised the Turkish state’s aspiration for occupation and genocide and pointed to the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish army in its attacks.

"The Turkish state is bombing the UN-controlled Maxmur refugee camp with its drones without following any rules. Şengal, the land of the world's most ancient people, the Yazidis, are under the threat of genocide. We believe that the pro-freedom ideas of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan, who represents our will, can resolve these problems. With the leadership of Öcalan under free conditions, peace in the Middle East, freedom for the Kurds and co-existence of peoples can be achieved,” the statement released on Wednesday said.

“Just as millions of Europeans flocked to the streets alongside the Kurds throughout Europe during the Kobane resistance to embrace the Rojava revolution, let's embrace Rojava and the Kurdish freedom fighters together now,” the statement said, addressing the peoples of Europe.

“European states and institutions are silent. This silence means complicity in crime,” remarked the statement, which further included the following:

“We urge the public to ensure massive participation in the “Defend Kurdistan/ Defend Revolution” demonstrations to be held on a global scale on June 11 under the leadership of internationalists, to defend Kurdistan against the genocidal war of the Turkish state that threatens the European peoples, humanity and aims for Kurdish genocide and to defend the women-oriented Rojava Revolution, which has established a common, equal and free life of the peoples.

Let's raise our voices together on a global scale on June 11. Let's embrace Kurdistan, Rojava and the guerrillas together. Let's ensure massive participation in the European-based march and rally to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, on June 25 under the motto 'Defend Kurdistan against invasion and chemical weapons'.”
