The KCDK-E issued a statement to condemn the attack on Amedspor in Bursa, and blamed the AKP-MHP government and Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu for it.
The KCDK-E issued a statement condemning the attack suffered by Amedspor football team before, during and after the match with Bursaspor played in Bursa on Sunday.
The statement said that the “AKP-MHP government, which wanted to divert the rising reactions in the sports fields after the earthquake disaster in Turkey, activated the lynching attempt in the Bursaspor-Amedspor match.”
The statement continued: “The constant and systematic hatred for the Kurds in Turkey manifests itself in different ways in every aspect of life. Bursaspor club's racist approach towards Amedspor is not only against the football team, but also against the name of the city of Amed and the Kurdish people in general.
Amedspor had pointed out the danger by announcing that they were exposed to provocation before the match. The police, who are supposedly responsible for protecting the athletes and supporters, actively participated in lynching attempts against both players and fans.
The AKP-MHP fascist government, which is under the rubble and cannot produce anything but lies and deception, will give an account for all violence and will be thrown into the dustbin of history.
Amedspor is not alone and should not be left alone.”
