KCK calls for strong participation in Kobanê demos worldwide

KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) Executive Council Co-Presidency has released a statement calling for strong participation in the demonstrations to be held worldwide in solidarity with the Kobanê resistance on 1 November.

Greeting all the academics, writers and intellectuals who have called for global support to the Kobanê resistance, KCK said the announcement of November 1 as International Day of Global Action for Kobanê was an honorable attitude.

The KCK pointed out that with the Kobanê resistance, a democracy, freedom and resistance front has been established against the ISIS gangs today, similar to the one formed against the Hitler fascism during the Second World War, stressing that; "The greatest attainment of the Kobanê resistance has been the joint resistance and struggle manifested by humanity worldwide against the ISIS fascism."

Remarking that the Kobanê resistance has already got beyond the borders of Kurdistan and gained an essence universalised as a movement of humanity, the KCK statement continued; "The heroic Kobanê resistance against the ISIS fascism has created a magnifical awakening among all communities, faith groups and cultures for democracy, freedom and an honorable life. Also bringing all those bearing a conscience together on the basis of struggle, the Kobanê resistance is in this regard progressing in the form of a global, international and historic resistance as a sum of values beyond nations, regions and continents."

KCK underlined that no matter to what extend the ISIS fascism and those supporting it may reach, it will definitevely be the humanity, honour, democracy and freedom to succeed in the person of Kobanê.

The Kobanê resistance, the greatest present of the bravely resisting YPG/YPJ forces and their friends to the peoples of the region and the world, has won already as humanity has united against ISIS fascism, the KCK stressed.

KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency ended the statement by calling on all Kurds in four parts of Kurdistan, and those in Europe, to ensure strong participation in demonstrations for Kobanê worldwide on 1 November. KCK also called on the peoples of Turkey, revolutionist and socialist circles, Alevis, workers, women and youths to join the November 1 demos in order to enhance the resistance and to condemn the ISIS fascism and Turkish exploitation grounded on policies hostile to Kurds.
