KCK condemns Hewler attack

KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) Executive Council Co-Presidency has released a statement condemning yesterday's bombing in front of Hewler Governor’s office which killed five people and wounded more than 20 others.

Offering condolences to the families of those martyred, to the Kurdish people and to the South Kurdistan Government, and a speedy recovery to the wounded, KCK stressed that; “The ISIS fascists have once again revealed their hostility to the Kurds by carrying out a vicious attack in Hewler.”

KCK stated that the National Unity and common defense forces should respond to the vicious attacks of the ISIS fascists targeting the existence and freedom of the Kurdish people.

Emphasising that all the developments taking place require the realisation of the Kurdish National Congress and the formation of a Joint Defense Force, the centennial dream of the Kurdish people, the KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency underlined that; “Actualising the Kurdish National Unity within the shortest time will be the most meaningful and honorable answer we can give to the memory of those martyred in South and Rojava Kurdistan, in Hewler, Sinjar, Maxmur, Rabia and Kobanê.”
