KCK denies allegations about withdrawal

Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council Presidency has released a statement denying the allegations on an alleged withdrawal of People's Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas from North Kurdistan.

KCK said the news that have recently appeared on the Turkish with titles such as “100 HPG guerrillas will retreat from Turkish borders” and “Agreement on retreat reached in negotiations with KCK” were an operation of a deliberate psychological warfare aimed at manipulation.

KCK pointed out that the Kurdish movement currently held no talks with any power, apart from the Imralı talks, and added that the news on negotiations with KCK were fabricated lies and didn't reflect the truths.

KCK remarked they sided with the ongoing talks between the Turkish state and the jailed Kurdish leader, Abdullah Öcalan, and that the Kurdish leader  also needs to hold talks with the KCK presidency and its components to make sure that the process of talks could be brought to a successful conclusion.

KCK added that the enlightenment of Paris killings was of major importance to ensure a progress on the way to negotiations. “If the AKP government is sincere about a solution, it must first explain us and the society who committed this crime and what the purpose of the killings was.
