Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council Presidency has released a statement on Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan’s call for an end to the hunger strike by Kurdish political prisoners.

“Our movement will act upon the call of our leader Öcalan and we call on all our resisting comrades of us to end their hunger strike for it has achieved its goal”, said KCK and pointed out that the government will be responsible from now on for answering Öcalan’s once again displayed intention for a solution.

The statement ended saying that KCK movement has from now on taken over the responsibility of resistance to be displayed and will continue to give a determined struggle in all areas until Leader Öcalan and Kurdish people gain their freedom.
