Heavy security measures were taken outside the court before the hearing which is being followed by a number of people including Prof Büþra Ersanlý who has been released only recently and who is still a defendant in another KCK trial.

Defendant Sara Aktaþ who spoke on behalf of all defendants at the hearing said that seven KCK detainees are on an indefinite hunger strike to protest against Öcalan’s isolation and for the right to mother language.
