In a written statement on recently intensified military operations in North Kurdistan and Media Defense Areas, Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council Presidency said that; “The AKP government is involved in a dangerous game. The Kurdish movement will no doubt defend itself as long as the operations targeting them continue”.

KCK pointed out that there will obviously be no progress on the way to a solution to the Kurdish question unless the military operations end in the current process of talks aimed at a settlement.

KCK called on the AKP government to display a sincere and non-contradictory attitude towards the people and underlined that AKP will never manage to make the Kurdish movement take a step back by means of bombardments and military operations.
