Kerem Solhan welcomed back in Marseille
Kerem Solhan, one of the 14 activists who went on hunger strike in Strasbourg demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, was met by a huge crowd in Marseille.
Kerem Solhan, one of the 14 activists who went on hunger strike in Strasbourg demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, was met by a huge crowd in Marseille.
Kerem Solhan was one of the 14 Kurdish activists who joined the hunger strike resistance led by HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven. He is from Marseille and went to Strasbourg to join the hunger strike launched on 17 December 2018.
Solhan, like all other hunger strikers, called off the hunger striker on 26 May, following Öcalan's call.
Solhan was welcomed with flowers by Kurds in Marseilles, France, where he lives today.
