Green Left Party executive Cahit Kırkazak spoke to ANF and underlined that the party accelerated its organizing efforts in order not to leave the people without alternatives in case of the HDP being closed down. Kırkazak said: "The Green Left Party was organized in 51 provinces and 235 districts. Our organization continues in many provinces. Our aim is to become organized in 81 provinces of Turkey. From the Black Sea to the Aegean, from the Mediterranean to all the provinces and districts of Kurdistan. The HDP and Green Left Party base are fully prepared for this election."

Kırkazak said that the HDP and Green Left Party base are ready for the election and added: "The majority of society knew the Green Left Party. They were waiting for a single address to be shown. We are now ready for the election.”

Kırkazak said: "The Green Left Party is not different from HDP. We are components of this partnership struggle. Our duty is to carry forward the flag brought by the HDP. The HDP achieved 13.2% of the votes in the 2015 elections. Until now, hope was in HDP. For the last 7 years, everyone's eyes and ears have been on the HDP against fascism, because it was the HDP that resisted and offered solutions. In fact, the HDP's resistance broke the chemistry of the fascist government. Now everyone thinks the Green Left Party will be the key. Parliamentary arithmetic is very important for us. Our goal is to exceed 20 percent and be represented in Parliament with a high  number of MPs.”
