KON-MED called on people to join March in Germany on 12 October

The Confederation of Kurdistan Communities in Germany (KON-MED) issued a statement called "It is time to stand up and defend Rojava".

The statement said: "The invading Turkish Republic has launched a great war aimed at the Kurds' gains and wants to carry out a genocide in Rojava."

The statement added: "We call on all Kurdish organizations to claim the Rojava resistance, leaving aside ideological and political differences.

Today is the day that Şêx Mahmut Berzenci, Qazi Muhammad, Şêx Said, Seyd Riza, Dr. Kasımlo, Dr. Nuri Dersimi stand up with the spirit of national consciousness and revenge.

We call upon the national spirit to step up the resistance, and urge everyone to join the great central march in Germany on 12 October."
