Kongra Star expresses solidarity to sister of Jacob Blake

Kongra Star issued a statement of solidarity with Letetra Widman, sister of Jacob Blake, the black man who was brutally shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin (US).
A police officer shot Jacob Blake seven times in the back as he opened the door of his car. Officers found a knife in Mr Blake's car but no other weapons.
The shooting has sparked a wave of protests in recent days.
Kongra Star said in its statement: "We stand with Letetra Widman, sister of Jacob Blake, a Black man who days ago was brutally attacked by police. He was shot in the back 7 times. Letetra reminds us that the struggle against this oppression is a struggle for life. From Kurdistan to Konosha, we share this fight."
