Kurdish Culture House opens in Lanester

A Kurdish Culture House was opened in Lanester, where the people of Kurdistan living in and around Lorient, France, will come together and organize joint events.

An association was opened in Lanester, a commune in the Morbihan department of the Brittany region of France, under the name "Maison Culturelle Kurde" (Kurdish Culture House).

Kurds living in and around Lorient attended the opening.

Politician Serhat Agirî made a speech at the Culture House, which was opened with slogans and zılgıts. Following the speech on the isolation of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and the Turkish state's invasion and genocidal attacks on Kurdistan,

The meals prepared by the women of Kurdistan in their own homes were served to the participants.
