HPG (People's Defense Forces) guerrillas have detained opposition CHP (Republican People's Party) deputy Hüseyin Aygün.

It is understood that Aygün (who has been elected in Dersim in June 2011) was returning from a visit to Ovacýk when Kurdish guerrillas stopped the vehicle he was traveling in.

It is understood that a journalist from Aksam newspaper who was traveling with the deputy, tried to convince the guerrillas to set the deputy free.
