Kurdish guerrillas set up road control in Þýrnak

People’s Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas set up road control points and made id control on Beytüþþebap-Þýrnak main road at midday hours on Friday. Turkish helicopters opened fire in the region during the road control in the region.

Dozens of cars were stopped by Kurdish militants who compared the names of the people in the stopped cars with the names on a list they had in their hand. Following the id control, guerrillas made propaganda to over a hundred people in the region where they also opened huge flags of the HPG. Two cobra type helicopters of the Turkish army flew over the region and opened fire in some places during the road control and propaganda of militants who finished the id control at late evening hours.

On the other hand, it is reported that HPG guerrillas have also opened flags and made road controls for some days in the area of Ortalý (Bêzar) village of Beytüþþebap.
