Kurdish activist Özkan Özdemir continues his hunger strike in the ACTIT in Paris, France and continues to receive visitors.
Sylvie Jan visited Özkan Özdemir representing France Kurdistan and saluted the resistance in Turkey, Kurdistan and Europe.

Sylvie Jan said they also visited the Strasbourg hunger strike and added that they took the resistance to many MPs who showed awareness, including Communist Party France MPs.
Jan stressed that they took the hunger strikes in Turkey against the isolation to the French Parliament’s agenda but the French government remains without awareness. Sylvie Jan, who was one of the people who first greeted DTK Co-chair Leyla Guven when she got out, said they are working as hard as they can to take the resistance to the French public agenda. Jan said the peoples of France are not informed of protests like the hunger strike, and as such it is difficult to bring the matter to the public’s attention and added that French organizations have a lot of work to do.
INALCO Youth also visited Özkan Özdemir. The representative from INALCO, the youth organization for Kurdish high school and university students in France, gave a speech in Kurdish and saluted Özdemir’s resistance, adding that the group has been informing French youth of the resistance in the universities they are organized in.

SKB and ACTIT members passed out the flyer of the statement the indefinite hunger strike committee issued the same day in front of the Paris Gare du Nord, and in cafés and shopkeepers in Strasbourg St. Denis Arch.
