Podemos MP Tinixara Guanche from the autonomous Basque Country in Spain announced that she will take the hunger strikes against the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan to the regional parliament.

Podemos MP Guanche issued a statement on the hunger strikes and said they are in solidarity with the hunger strikers and their demands.

Guanche said, “We support the hunger strikers and their demand for an end to isolation against all political prisoners and the recognition of rights for all,” and added that she will bring the matter up for discussion in the Basque Country regional parliament.
