The official website of Bern city has started to offer its services in 15 languages after Russian, Ukrainian and Kurdish languages were added. The Kurdish language option was added to the website by the Bern Education, Social Services and Sports Department on June 5.

According to the website, the Kurdish language option was recognized thanks to the efforts of Kurdish associations. The website provides information on work and career, asylum, legal rights and obligations, financial issues, insurance and social security, school system and education, health, children and family, learning German, tenancy and life, leisure time, transportation, emergencies and counselling centres.
