The Kurdish PEN Centre has written to John Ralston Saul, President of PEN International, to invite hime to itseEighth Congress this year between the dates May 17th-20th of 2013 in the city of Amed (Diyarbakir), Turkey with the cooperation and coordination of the Kurdish Writers’ Union and the Municipality of Amed.

The congress will be held under the following slogan: “We call for the implementation of the articles of the Girona Manifesto of the International PEN in our country”
