Reports are coming through of a village 5 Km from Aleppo being surrounded by al-Nusra militants. 

The village of Kefer Zigir, highly populated by Kurds, have been surrounded by this al-Qaeda-linked group in the early hours of the morning. 

After being surrounded the people of the village were attacked by the Islamic group. It is understood that some 3 thousand Kurds live in the village.
