Kurdish women living in the Autonomous Republic Adygea of the Russian Federation made a press statement to express their condemnation towards the aggravated isolation on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Organised by the Bêrîtan-Kurdish Women's Association in Adygea, the press statement was made in front of the Kurdish Association with high participation by women.
Adygea Kurdish Cultural Autonomy Co-Chair Sînem Biroyê read out the statement, saying: "As no meetings have been permitted with Leader Apo for a long time, we as the Kurdish Women's Association in Adygea express our harshest condemnation towards the Turkish state. In this respect we also call on all international forces to end their passivity towards the Turkish state's policies of denial and annihilation and to induce efforts for an immediate end of the isolation on our leader."
The statement of condemnation ended with slogans as "Long Live Leader Apo" and "There is no life without Öcalan".
