Kurdish women living in Europe will gather in the French capital Paris on 9 March for the mass march and demonstration organized by TJKE, Movement of Kurdish Women in Europe, for the International Women's Day.
The activities by TJKE have been dedicated to Sakine Cansız, a co-founder of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), Fidan Doğan, representative of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) in Paris, and Leyla Şaylemez, member of the Kurdish youth movement, who were murdered in Paris on 9 January.
The march in Paris will start from the Kurdistan Information Office, where the three women were murdered, at 10 a.m. and be followed by a demonstration which will also be joined by women from Germany, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland.
In a statement on the demo, Zin Women's Association called on all those against women's killings to join the demo in Paris on 9 March, in the second month of the murder of Sara, Rojbin and Ronahi.
