The Kurdish Yezidi Association in western Kurdistan issued its final statement on the 10th of March by the end of the second conference held in the center for culture and art in Afrin. The conference was held under the slogan "we support our association!”
The conference issued a number of Items:
1- the collection and documentation of the Yazidi religious heritage and the teachings of the Yazidi religion and the acknowledgment of the Yazidi religion on identity cards, which was changed by the Syrian regime in the civil records..
2- raising the level of health, social and cultural development, giving better attention to the rights of women including the abolition of dowries and to communicate with all unions, associations and Yazidi institutions in the world..
3- the construction and rehabilitation of shrines (domes) in every Yazidi village and opening branches for the headquarters of the Association in Afrin to manage Yazidis affairs. To heighten and increase the level of interest in Yazidi culture and heritage.
4- establishing a website on behalf of the Association.
