Kurdish youth protest for Öcalan in Paris

Kurds and their friends in Europe continue their protests demanding freedom for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Activists from the Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger, TCŞ) staged a demonstration in the Corbeil commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France Friday evening.

The activists demanded freedom for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan who has been held in strict isolation in the Imralı Islan Prison since 1999.

Staging a march behind a banner that read “Rise up together for freedom for Leader Öcalan”, the activists protested against Turkish fascism with slogans in French and Kurdish.

The demonstration also received the support of the local people.
