Kurdish youths occupy France24 and RFI radio building in Paris

Kurdish youths in Paris, France have occupied France24 and RFI radio building in protest of the aggravated isolation of Öcalan and AKP fascism’s genocidal attacks in Kurdistan.

Kurdish youths in Paris, France have occupied France24 and RFI radio building in protest of the aggravated isolation of Öcalan and AKP fascism’s genocidal attacks in Kurdistan. They entered the building around 16.00 yesterday afternoon and started their demonstration.

While two police units entered the building and attempted to intervene, Kurdish youths met with the radio representatives and stipulated the condition to attend a show on the radio. As the demonstration continued with slogans of “Terrorist Erdoğan”, “Bijî Berxwedana YPS” and “Freedom for Öcalan”, the youths' demands were accepted. The radio representatives will have the demonstrators as guests on a show.

The youths wanted to end the demonstration when their demands were met. The police wanted to check their ID’s, and the youth staged a sit-in protest against this attempt. The demonstration ended at 17.30 with the police backing down.
