Members of the YXK (Association of Students from Kurdistan) and JXK (Association of Women Students from Kurdistan) launched Kurdistan Charity Week at the SOAS University of London, England.

The solidarity event will last from November 27 and December 1.

Food and Kurdish accessory sale will be made every day at the building of students’ union in the university. Students also held a celebration to mark the 40th year of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, PKK.

As part of the event, a culture night will be held together with the Iranian, Palestinian and Syrian students at the SOAS University on the last day of the week.

All the income to be generated during the Kurdistan Charity Week will be donated to victims of the earthquake that stroke the border region between Bashur (Southern) and Rojhilat (Eastern) Kurdistan on November 12.
