Kurds call on everyone to attend march in Düsseldorf on Saturday

Politicians, women, young people and people from different segments of Kurdish society called on everyone to join the European march to be held in Düsseldorf on 15 April to demand freedom for Öcalan.

The "International Condemnation of Conspiracy and Freedom for Leader Apo" march, which was planned at the central level last February but postponed due to the earthquake in Northern Kurdistan, Turkey and Rojava, will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, next Saturday, 15 April.

The European-based march will start at 11 am from Friedrich-Ebert-Str. 34-38, Düsseldorf.

Kurdish politicians, women, young people called on everyone to participate in the demonstration.

Kurdish politician Hatip Dicle said: "We invite all our people and friends to the central rally in Düsseldorf on 15 April to demand a democratic solution to the Kurdish problem and freedom for Leader Öcalan."

Making a similar call, Musa Farisoğulları said: "We need to go to Düsseldorf on 15 April and demand freedom for our Leader. We need to increase resistance."

Civaka Islamiya Kurdistan (CIK) chair Hafız Ahmet Turhallı pointed out the importance of Abdullah Öcalan's freedom for the Kurdish people to achieve their rights and ensure peace in the Middle East, and called on everyone to be in Düsseldorf.

Politician Faysal Yıldız, pointed out that the Kurdish People's Leader had not been heard from for two years and called on everyone to participate in the march in Düsseldorf.

Emphasizing the importance of the May 14 elections, Nejdet Atalay said: “On the eve of the 14 May elections, it will be very important for this march to be massive, both to demand freedom for our Leader and to contribute to the election work in the country.”
