Kurds in Helsinki protest Turkish attacks in front of Iraqi Consulate

In Helsinki, Kurds protested in front of the Iraqi Consulate to react to the Iraqi government, which remained silent against the attacks of the Turkish state. The delegation presented the file they prepared to the consulate and conveyed their demands.

The Finnish Democratic Kurdish Community Center (DKTM) carried out an action in front of the Iraqi Consulate in Helsinki to protest the silence of the Iraqi government about the Turkish state's attacks on Iraqi lands.

A group of Kurds living in Helsinki gathered in Kulosaari and marched to the Iraqi Consulate.

The representatives of the Consulate came outside and invited a delegation of three people from the DKTM.

The DKTM representatives presented the file they prepared to the officials at a meeting they held. They demanded that the Iraqi state take a stance against the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state against Shengal and South Kurdistan. The Kurds also demanded the implementation of a no-fly zone and asked the Iraqi state to play its role in the defense of its territory against the Turkish state and KDP collaboration.

The delegation left the building after being promised by the consulate that their demands would be conveyed to the Iraqi government.
