Kurds in Marseille launch 3-day tent protest to expose Turkish use of chemical weapons

Kurds living in Marseille launched a three-day tent protest to draw attention to the Turkish use of chemical weapons. The organizers called for participation in the tent action and the march to be held at the weekend.

The people of Kurdistan living in Marseille launched a 3-day tent action in order to draw attention to the Turkish use of chemical weapons in the attacks carried out in the Medya Defense Areas.

Photographs of guerrillas who were killed in attacks where chemical weapons were used were put up at the stand. The action started on Tuesday in Vieux Port square.

“The Turkish state uses chemicals; "Will you remain silent?" a banner said. The activists, who distributed many leaflets, informed the public about the attacks carried out by Turkey.

The 3-day tent will end with a march to be held on Saturday.

The action organizing committee called for strong participation in the tent action that will continue today and tomorrow as well as at the march on Saturday.
