May Day was celebrated in Lavrio, in the capital of Athens, Greece.
Speeches were made to mark the meaning and importance of the day during the rally, which was also attended by Greek trade unions.
In the city of Lorient, French labour unions, political parties and many other non-governmental organizations organized a rally.
The Kurds took their place in the rally with their own flags.
Thousands gathered in the city centre of Lorient at 10 o'clock and marched chanting slogans.
The French government's pension reform, which raised the pension age from 62 to 64, was protested during the march.
French unions are expecting a historic workers' protest against the pension reform on May 1.
In the French city of Reims, Kurds attended the May Day rally organized by trade unions.
The Kurdish activists displayed banners of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and chanted the slogan “Long Live May Day, Long Live the PKK”.
