Kurds to rally in Paris against Erdogan

The rally is organised by the French Election Coordination to support the HDP.

The French Election Coordination- made up of ACTIT, ADHK, ATİK, CDK-F, DIDF, FEDA, HDK-F, Focus, PPEKE, Cinematic Association- has issued a statement calling on people to participate in the rally to be held in Paris on Saturday.

The statement points out that the election process in Europe, for people entitled to vote in the Turkish elections, will take place from 7 to 19 June. "We are millions, we are angry, we want to unite our desires and hopes in the HDP".

The statement said: “We came to France because we were forced out of our lands, for economic reasons or to flee persecution. We know we still have a saying in the politics of the country we have left. Even though our will is held hostage in prisons, we continue to work day and night to secure victory. Selahattin Demirtaş continues to greet our people in every street of France”.

The statement went on with an appeal: “Now, it is time for us to meet in the square with those who we have asked to vote for the HDP, on the street, on the train, on the subway, on the cafe”.
