Clashes broke out between SDF fighters and ISIS gangs last night in the Nahda, Kurdan and al-Barid neighborhoods in Raqqa and around the Weteni Hospital, the Neim Boulevard and the Stadium. Clashes continued into the morning.

Sources say the circle draws tighter for gangs as fighters advance in these areas. In clashes that continued into the morning, 10 ISIS members were killed and one gang member surrendered to the fighters. A number of weapons and ammunition were seized by the fighters.

Meanwhile operations to rescue civilians continue. 195 more were rescued last night. The wounded gang members who tried to get away by hiding among rescued civilians were also caught by the fighters.
