Leyla Birlik and Nursel Aydoğan sent to Sincan Prison in Ankara
HDP deputies Leyla Birlik and Nursel Aydoğan have been sent to Sincan Prison in Turkish capital Ankara following the court order for their arrest issued earlier today.
HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Şırnak MP Leyla Birlik and Amed MP Nursel Aydoğan have been arrested today after getting detained last night in a large-scale operation against the party executives.
Both deputies were questioned for 3 hours today, after which they were remanded in custody in the evening, and sent to Sincan Prison in Ankara at night.
