Locals: SDF protects the people from ISIS attacks
The people in Bir Nefax and Eniz villages say that the SDF fighters who rescued their villages from ISIS act carefully to keep the gangs from harming the villagers.
In the operation launched on September 28, SDF fighters have liberated the Bir Nefax and Eniz villages to the north of Deir ez-Zor.
The fighters launching the operation acted carefully to keep ISIS gangs from harming villagers. Villagers thanked the fighters and talked about the details of the clearance operation.
Fatma Ayid said the following on the matter: “SDF fighters entered our village early in the morning and woke us up. They took us to one side of the village to protect us from gangs.”
Sileman Eli from Bir Nefax village said the following on what the gangs did: “The gangs had banned everything. They didn’t allow us to smoke, they made us wore long clothes. SDF saved us from the gangs. Now the fighters protect us.”
Necah Ismail from Bir Nefax village said: “I was afraid for my little girl during the operation. A SDF fighter helped me take my daughter to safety. After the fighters rescued our village, we returned home and now the SDF fighters won’t let the gangs attack us.”
