London panel to discuss Kurdish struggle for democracy in Turkey

The meeting will discuss the latest developments in relation to the imprisoned Kurdish Leader Abdullah Ocalan and results of the mass Kurdish hunger strikes.

A panel discussion entitled ‘Kurdish Struggle for Democracy in Turkey’ will take place today in London.

The panel is organised by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Kurds and the Kurdish People's Assembly.

The meeting will discuss the latest developments in relation to the imprisoned Kurdish Leader Abdullah Ocalan and results of the mass Kurdish hunger strikes.

The unlawful decisions against elected Mayors and MP’s will be explored including the upcoming Istanbul local elections and the HDP electoral strategy.

Speakers will present on  the prospect of mutual dialogue and the ways to lasting Peace in Turkey and the wider Middle East.

This event is hosted by Lloyd Russell Moyle MP for Brighton and Bambos Charalambous MP for Enfield Southgate
