Long March to kick off in a week

The organisers are expecting some 150 participants from different national background.

The Long March to Strasbourg will be held from 9 to 15 February to respond to the call "Freedom for Öcalan. Shoulder to shoulder against fascism."

The Long March will be gathering and kick-off with a big event in Saarbrücken on 9 February. It will continue from from Luxembourg to Strasbourg where it will end on 15 February with a major demonstration.

Activists will walk 10-15 km every day. They will wake up early, have breakfast, get ready to march with their banners and flags. The march will go through the cities and activists will meet up the officials of the municipalities to speak about their demands. 

The organisers are expecting some 150 participants from different national background. Most of them from Europe, but some of them come from Australia, Canada, Latin America and USA.
