Long marches arrived in Strasbourg

Three long marches started from Basel, Mannheim and Luxemburg have arrived in the French city of Strasbourg.

Activists in the long marches from Basel, Mannheim and Luxemburg have today arrived in Strasbourg, France. The demonstrators are protesting  the February 15 international conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan at its 20th anniversary.

Hundreds of the marchers gathered at Place de Kleber in Strasbourg, denounced the Turkish state and chanted slogans to demand freedom for Abdullah Ocalan.

Kurdish vocalist Hozan Şemdîn sang the revolutionary march of ‘Çerxa Şoreşê’, and representatives from each axis of the march will deliver their speeches.

The demonstrators will then march to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
