MADEF: On 2 July 1993 humanity was burned
Commemorating the intellectuals who were murdered in Sivas on 2 July 1993, MARDEF said that the state played a direct role in the massacre.
The Federation of Maras Democratic Associations (MARDEF) issued a written statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the 2 July 1993 Sivas Massacre.
The statement underlined: "Humanity was burned on 2 July 1993.
The official forces of the State have played a role in facilitating the work of the murderers, as they did not prevent them.”
The statement added: “The martyrs will always be remembered as long as humanity exists.”
