Mantes la Jolie mayor, Raphael Cognet, visited the Normandy People's Association together with a delegation. The mayor and the other officials offered their condolences for the massacre carried out on 23 December in Paris.
The French delegation was welcomed by Zozan Serhat, a member of the European Kurdish Women's Movement, and Kurds who were in the association. Mayor Cognet expressed his condolences to the Kurdish people for the death of Evîn Goyî, Mir Perwer and Abdurrahman Kızıl who were murdered in Paris and condemned the killings.
Cognet said that they are siding with the Kurds because they are friends of the Kurdish people, and added that they will do their best to shed light on the massacre.
Zozan Serhat thanked the delegation.
